FAN OF THE WEEK: Brandie Muse

Ladies and gentlemen, give it up for Brandie Muse, this week's recipient of our Fan Of The Week award.  Some pundits estimate that by 2012, Crown Point's FOTW will have overtaken TIME Magazine's Person Of The Year in prestige.  Those pundits include Jon Davidson, Russell Stafford, and Kaycee Kay.

Back to Brandie:  She lives in North Carolina, and has been a fan of Jon's and Russ's solo careers since the dark days before Crown Point was conceived (and birthed, sans epidural).  Brandie was disappointed to find out that last fall's tour with Tyrone Wells and Andrew Belle didn't route through North Carolina.  Disappointed, but not dissuaded.  She and her sister drove five hours to the closest concert :  our show in Washington, DC.  Thanks to a faulty GPS, they ended up getting lost and missing the show.  Undaunted, they got a motel, woke up early and drove another hour to our matinee show in Annapolis, MD.

We did our best to make their 12 hours of driving worthwhile.

Not only does Brandie have impeccable taste in music, but she is also an aspiring author.  She's written some 70 books and short stories, including several in which we, the Crown Point guys, play a starring role.  Pretty cool.  She's currently shopping for publishers.   We're currently hoping her next book portrays us as Lycra-wearing superheroes.
