Crown Point definitely doesn't have the most fans in the world.  Lady Gaga has us beat by a few (billion) in that department.  But, we're convinced that we have some of the greatest fans in the world.  We're so thankful that you give us the opportunity to do what we love most.  And so, in 2011, we're going to honor a different fan each week, as our small way of saying thanks.

FAN OF THE WEEK:  Nicole Barnhill

We met Nicole Barnhill at our sold-out show at Eddie's Attic in Atlanta in October.  With a last name like Barnhill, combining two rural-esque words, you would expect her to wear overalls.  She doesn't.  Well, maybe occasionally on the weekends.

We had the privilege of hanging out with Barnhill for a bit after the show, and we've kept in touch since then.  Turns out, we had a mutual friend in New York City.  Small world, thanks to Facebook.

Why, you ask, is Nicole our Fan Of The Week?  Well, she's asked us to come back to Atlanta.  But, rather than sit around and wait for our lazy heinies to get there, she's actually jumped the gun and taken it upon herself to book our next Atlanta show before we could even get our booking and management people on it!  She's revised the old Biblical mantra:  "Ask, and you might receive.  If you don't, just do it yourself."
